Not long until our Pre-School classes start!

13 Sep 2018 by Erin-Lea Murphy

Hello!

We are very excited that our pre-school classes are starting again next week (Tuesday 18th and Friday 21st September), with our new class ZUMBINI joining our timetable with Bear Feet Ballet. And we are very excited to meet you and your diddi-dancers!

Just a reminder of days and times:

HALESWORTH – The Cut. We are in a room downstairs so that we can store pushchairs easier and be closer to the toilets.
Tuesday: Zumbini 9:30 – 10:30am
Friday: Bear Feet Ballet 11:30 – 12:30pm

SAXMUNDHAM – The Gannon Rooms. Please leave pushchairs in the small room at the front of the building.
Tuesday: Bear Feet Ballet 11:30 – 12:30pm
Friday: Zumbini 9:30 – 10:30am

Our classes run for 40-45mins (approx) with a drink and biscuit after. If you need to leave early because of parking etc. and not stay for a drink, that’s not a problem.

BUNDLES: When you sign up for the term you get a free family bundle to continue to learning and the fun at home. The bundle includes a book, CD and a toy / present.

WHAT TO WEAR?
Children need to wear anything they can move easily in. If Bear Feet Ballet wish to wear ballet dresses / shoes then that’s wonderful! I would suggest getting dance wear from places like Sainsbury’s as they are a LOT cheaper than dance shops. Amazon and eBay are also really great.
For Zumbini T-Shirt and leggings / jogging bottoms etc is great. Non-slip socks are also brilliant.
Adults: due to little feet we ask that no-one wears any shoes – non-slip socks are brilliant

ADULTS – please remember this is a “Dance With Me” class, and for the child(ren) you are coming with to get the most out of the class, you will need to dance and sing as much – if not more – than the children.
All the dances and songs are VERY simple and nothing to worry about. If you show your children what fun it is to be confident and to sing and dance, they will copy and learn that it’s OK to GO FOR IT!
Also don’t be afraid to let your children explore the room and join in when they’re ready – every child is different, with different attention spans and they all learn in different ways. They will come back to the song if you keep singing and dancing, rather than go after them to make them join in – as they will want to have FUN. (Obviously run after them if they’re doing anything dangerous though!!)

If you need any more information on the class or need to let us know anything before the class please don’t hesitate to message us.

See you next week!

Erin :)
